Wonder Woman was excellent.

All three of the Nolan Batman's were really good.

Aquaman was entertaining. Better than Dark World but not quite as good as Ragnarok.

Shazam was as good and arguably better than Homecoming.

I liked Endgame but probably still find Civil War better.

What's the list?

Hannibal Lector
Darth Vader
Wicked Witch
Norman Bates?
Horror villains like Freddy Krueger, Chucky, Jason, Jigsaw?
Jack Nicholson Joker?
Heath Ledger Joker?
Voldemort?

DC does not count.

The only thing they have done is wayyyyy over hype Aquaman.

Shazam is okay..

The rest?

Horror cringe movies.

No thanks.

Have not sen WW so ...

As bad as the recent DC universe has been, its worth remembering that the 2 best superhero movies of all time were DC films.....Dark Knight and the original Superman. DC had a pretty good run from 1978 to 2007.

I can't watch ten minutes of Dark Knight and the original superman wasn't as good as the weekly Hulk series.

He could just fly/lay on a table.

DC films are all too dark and creepy for my taste.

Even Shazam was pretty dark still good.

I ain't touching Aquaman but will watch Wonder Woman.

Other films coming up Asguardians of the Galaxy 3, Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2, Black Widow solo, Captain Marvel 2, Thor 4.

That should lead to a pretty spectacular family picnic.

The first 2 Dark Knight films are good (I prefer the 1st one) but the third one doesn't work for me. If we are going on stand alones give me Captain America: Winter Soldier or Iron Man 1.

My biggest issue with Freddy is the later Nightmare movies where he was riding skateboards and making jokes. Early Freddy? Absolutely

What was so scary about Thanos was the fact that he truly believed that what he was doing was absolutely correct. His reasoning behind mass genocide was logical.

Iron Man 1 is very dated now. it was based in a world that just doesnt exist anymore....post 9/11, Iraq War era....and it leaned heavily into that.

Winter Soldier is good. Black Panther is really good too. Overall, the average MCU film isnt great on its own. However, the continuous story throughout the films makes each film better and more important that that film is as a standalone. there are outliers to that...>WS, BP, GOTG, Ragnarok.

I think Ragnarok works well as a stand alone. It was easily the best of the three Thor movies. A lot of funny lines and good dialogue with Thor and Hulk.

And come on...Jeff Goldblum was great!

I agree completely about the Dark KNight films. First one was great, second was good, but the 3rd was crap to me. Not sure why so many people loved it. I am/was a huge Heath Ledger fan and thought he was awful as the Joker.

I was really, really hoping they had casted Heath as Annakin instead of that wooden box they chose instead.

Raganrok is awesome. Of course, the hilarity of Ragnarok has a lot to do with Taika Watiti. Every comedy he does is amazing. Check out his mockumentary What We Do In The Shadows. Hilarious. The new FX show based on it is funny but nowhere near as good as the feature length with amazing performances by Watiti and Jemaine Clement.
