Under the separation of powers I don't see how any state could demand a federal document. Besides that, the Constitution spells out the requirements to run for President, a federal office, those requirements are the only requirements that are constitutional.

I don't like him. I think he's a detestable human being, but he shouldn't be kept off the ballot.
I'm assuming all candidates financial records are thoroughly vetted by federal authorities and that's good enough for me.
My top 3 things that I look for in a President are -
1- Policy (what they want to do for the country while in office).
2 - Policy (what they want to do for the country while in office).
3 - Policy (what they want to do for the country while in office).
I'm not looking for someone to be like a brother, father, grandfather, or best friend to me. I'm looking for someone that will look out for what is best for the people of this country - i.e. security (both financial and personal). If they can win the Mr. or Ms Congeniality Award on top of doing the important stuff then great. If not then that's OK too.

Absolutely.

I don't particularly care for Donald Trump as a person. But when it's a choice between him and any of the democrats in the field, then the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I did not vote for him...and my view of him as a POS has not changed. The fact that I would vote for him now should say volumes about how much I despise ALL of the current Dem candidates.

Its unconstitutional and laughable. The Dems should stop this type stuff. It makes them look desperate very early in this race.
