To quote Haskins... "The league messed up" He should've been drafted. I find it hard to believe that all those other 100's of players are better than Cody. Granted I realize they don't all play WR. Go get em Cody. I bet he'll make the cut especially since Hill's status is up in the air. Any word on Jameson Vest??

The draft has never been a perfect science, nor has evaluating college talent as pro prospects, and every year there are examples of low drafted or undrafted players succeeding in the league. But lets also keep this in mind, majority of long term successful pro players tend to come in first four rounds, yes always exceptions, but data clearly shows much higher chance of pro career success (still far from 100%. as more like 30-50%) in the higher rounds compared to lower or UDFA. Everyone likes to point out Brady, while ignoring that since 2000 with 340+ players drafted in 6th round, only a few have been successful, so he represents a <1% success rate in 6th round.

I hope he does well, great guy on the field and I believe off the field. If he doesn't make it as a player, their is room for him at the coaching level.
