Who cares? It is used on game days to direct people to the proper garage. UC's campus has been placed on a half dozen or so most beautiful lists over the last 5 or so years. It really is quite amazing how the old buildings and the modern architecture come together. It is beautiful.

Look, it's not that big of a deal, but the way so many of you guys try to Distance yourselves from them is highly amusing.

It stays out there to direct for big events. In this case, it was graduation season. Local high school's plus UC do their graduation on campus in 5/3 Arena. I just don't understand what the point of this whole thread is. You look like you are so embarrassed by your campus that you want to try to drag down another school. UC has been on a bunch of most beautiful campus lists... has USF ever made one?

a) FWIW, I wasn't trolling, nor did I even know it was 6 years old. As God is my witness, it came across my Facebook page, and I was frankly surprised that Cincinnati was the only AAC school listed.

b) It's fine to move it over here, but since you're a Cincinnati fan and see to notice these things, how about if you treat BC1's trolling efforts the same way? Dude gets away with things that are WAY more blatant and they never get moved. What's good for the goose is good for the gander...

I don't know... Memphis was a simple Teacher's College at the beginning as well. But the designers of the first 5 to 10 buildings were classicists, and it shows. the problem starts in the mid 50s to 60s when modernists and brutalists were the fashion of the day. In my opinion, the FedEX building on the Memphis campus (circa 2005?) is a "cool building", but doesn't belong on a college campus.

cincinnati does need a welcoming gate on the calhoun side across from dubois. other than that, the surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired. sterile and corporate. even short vine's lost it's grunge. the campus though, is breathtaking. campus north (medical) is futuristic. honestly though, nippert really seals it

I just knew UCF fans would come in here trying to insult USF... lets be honest, your campus looks like a mall. A crappy, ugly ass strip mall, but then again, I think thats the theme of Orlando in general. Anyone whos been on USFs campus in the last few years realizes that it doesn't even look close to what that journalist said... and all of our upgrades and beautification was done without stealing damn near $100 million.
So ya, if you like ****** stucco, boring ass architecture and a school that feel like a Panera reject, then UCF is awesome.
