As someone else point out, the "we weren't wanted" part can't literally be true, as it would mean the content of the PACN had no value, and of course we know that it does have value. Heck ESPN broadcasts National Cornhole competitions for crissakes.
So what that official probably meant was that nobody was willing to partner on the terms that the PAC, meaning Larry Scott, was offering. Which is an entirely different thing.

Spot On! So the PAC12 asking $$$ was probably to much.... The good news for the PAC they will have the option to rebrand the Sinclair RSN to PACN (much like the ACC had done with Raycom before ACCN on ESPN) after the 2026-27 season of course...
