Last I checked WSU had 1 more Final Four than Memphis. Probably not a road you want to go down, especially in a recruiting thread, given the implications.

Your delusion that it is not so matches well with your delusion of being envied.

Wichita State has been to the Final Four four times? Memphis has been to the Final Four three times and played in the national championship game twice.

The NCAA Final Four? Funny, they don't mention it.

Per 247Sports, Memphis vaults to the 3rd best class overall if Memphis adds Achiuwa.

Wow I did not realize we had so many fans of the NCAA and their rulings over here. I do recall they wiped out the 2008 final four run without any evidence of wrongdoing by Memphis. So in that NCAA ruling they used "strict liability" where you don't need any actual evidence --- a standard never used before and never use since. But never mind, once we achieve P5 status the NCAA will overturn all those adverse decisions and we'll have those final four runs you can find YouTube evidence of all over the internet, and maybe be finally acknowledged by that esteemed organization. 04-rock on North Carolina.

Preach on. After the UNC NO SANCTIONS debacle, anyone.... ANYONE who uses the NCAA and their corruption as a judgmental weapon is posting either dishonest or uninformed text.

Jealousy is such an ugly thing.

I think envy is a better description. 03-wink

Jealousy: fear of someone taking something you have
Envy: wanting something someone else has

I’ve seen you congratulate WSU fans when they sign a recruit. Seems strange that they don’t reciprocate when we hear positive recruiting news.

Wow. And to think I have been virtually 100% complementary of WSU. Go through my posts. Go through ones where I even started posts for that.

So this person inserts MURDER within something where I finally defend my alma mater while ignoring multiple ghetto references and declaring our players to be "trash" people in their character?

As such, I suppose I should accept your insult attempt as an incidental praise.

It's called a metaphor. Look into it.

Also, saying nice things about my sports team does not mean you are not wrong about other things.

I'll further add that I didn't bring it up. A Memphis fan decided to wave it around in the face of WSU fans. Don't get mad it got called out as false.

I’ve seen you congratulate WSU fans when they sign a recruit. Seems strange that they don’t reciprocate when we hear positive recruiting news.

I recognize it is in the Tiger’s self interest when AAC schools strengthen. Likewise, a strong Tiger program benefits all AAC members. Hence, I was continually puzzled seeing posts disparaging and discounting the effect of positive recruiting developments for Memphis.

I finally chalked it up to fear and envy. The classic “cut off nose to spite face” in action.

I am not deterred, however, from rooting for our peers in recruiting (except when in conflict with Memphis).

So, back on topic. I have not heard an update today on his time in Memphis. I hope it is going well.

Pretty amazing really when you look around. Hell I bet Arizona and LSU get away with it and they got them on tape LOL.

Derrick Rose was cleared by the NCAA to play not once, not twice, but THREE times.
Kind of out of our control.
A standard was used against our school, that had never been applied before...and has never been used again.
The same guy who applied that standard...was the AD for a school that has been nailed for cheating in football (Miami) SEVERAL times. That's like letting the foxes guard the henhouse.

The folks here trashing Memphis should understand the arbitrary and capricious “strict liability” standard has the potential to club their program.
