Funny part is, ESPN doesn't even list Memphis on the recruitment of Achiuwa, Watford or Quinones

It appears ESPN has ceded comprehensive basketball recruiting evaluation to other entities (eg 247Sports). Nevertheless, it is gratifying seeing Tiger recruits and targets prominently displayed.

Anyone have any idea what Hampton's projected rank would be if he reclassifies?

looking at the ESPN list I'd guess 5-7 range

ESPN just does a poor job updating data for individual players. I think their rankings are decent, they just don't chase the updates like Rivals or 247 do.

They still have Malcolm at 6'8" and 200 pounds, which I'm sure is the size they had for Malcolm when he was entered into their database years ago.

I heard some guy from Rivals or 24/7 being interviewed on the radio recently that said if R.J. Hampton reclassified to 2019 he would be ranked in the Top 5 of this class.

I want to say it may have been Evan Daniels, but I could be mistaken. It was some self proclaimed recruiting guru though.

Yeah, it's weird. The recruiting rankings are decent and a lot harder to do. The players updates are terrible and pretty easy to do. Because they don't update the players lists it makes it appear that they don't know what they are doing. You could hire a guy for an hour a week and he could update the player lists.

Last I looked on Rivals they have Lester Q at 44. DJ just a few spots below

Someone needs to weigh Dandridge again. He is more than 200 lbs. at 6'8". He is more like 235 at least.

Not sure where that number came from. He was like that on 247 but TigX pointed out it was wrong so it was changed to 245.
