So this Fall do they show Tier 3 Big 12 football?

My understanding is that each participating Big 12 school (the Little 8) is obligated to provide one home football game a year to ESPN+. However, this coming year, only Kansas, Kansas State, OK State, and Baylor will be participating. Beginning in Fall 2020, the other four Big 12 schools will be as well.

Texas and Oklahoma home games will not appear on ESPN+, but they could be on plus if they are visiting one of the schools that are.

So the answer to your question is that we can expect four Big 12 football games, home games for K, KS, OKS, and B, on ESPN+ this coming fall.

Those will all be lower level OOC games and not against OU or UT or really any conference games except when those teams host KU.

Yes, the will almost surely be vs G5 or FCS. Nothing worth watching.

E.g., a few years ago (and maybe still?), LSU had a service called "TigerVision", which was pay-per-view LSU football games against the worst OOC opponents, games that no network wanted. IIRC, the cost for a game was $20, for those fanatics who just had to see LSU vs McNeese State but couldn't make it to the stadium.

Not sure if the SECN means that no longer exists or not, but I imagine the equivalent kinds of B12 games will be on PLUS.

And ESPN will quickly find out the online ratings for XII won't be any better than G5 or FCS either.

So much of "TV value" is wrapped up into the timeslot. See what has happened to the AAC with the Aresco exposure.....nice ratings.

If one size fit all we'd all have the same package that we all loved.

ESPN+ is awesome for me.
It costs less than MLS Live did so I save money.
Between the one NHL game per night and the content on NBC and NBC Sports I got enough games of my team to get rid of NHL Game Center saving me another $130.

I've watched more AState baseball, more AState hoops, and even watched the final day of the Sun Belt men's golf tournament. Content I lived without when it wasn't available but with it available, I watched.

I'll probably watch at least five AState football games on ESPN+

It's a damn bargain for me.
