I like those schools better than getting offers from Towson, Howard, and Quinnipiac

It'd be great to get him, but the fact he's wearing a crown, has "king" in his Twitter name, and has a dollar sign in his regular name makes me think he's going to pick the largest program.

Burke Smith just committed to Boise State.

Boise? That’s really strange. Perhaps he has family there?

Hope he's not expecting to play on a blue court. 03-lmfao

For 2020, Verbal Commits shows 4 PF's, 1 C and 1 SF committing to other schools over JMU in the past 4-5 days.

2020 MBB Recruiting
Tough year for Lou to recruit. It's make or break and other coaches are probably telling kids that Lou may not be around if he doesn't win a whole bunch of games

Not really - this is year 4 of a 5 year contract. It happens alot. Also that he has that nice, huge looking arena is an excellent recruiting tool.

Now Brady recruiting in year 5 of a 5 year contract was rediculous for both Matt and the school. That was a bad call, I guess by Rose from what I heard.

Well yeah Brady's situation was worse, but that's like comparing a giant douche to a turd sandwich, they are both awful

RE: 2020 MBB Recruiting
Recruiting is a challenge when you have so many players and coaches leave a program; as opposing coaches will arrange conversations for new recruits with those that have left JMU.

This has worked very well for Coach O - but it has been a disaster for Rowe.

Rowes' first year recruits:

- Gerrome Scissum (left mid season)
- Vince Holmes JUCO – left team
- Terrance Johnson JUCO – left team

Rowe's recent recruits:

- Jonathan Hicklin – left team mid-season
- Greg Jones - left team
- Matthew Urbach – left team
- Alex Schultz – left team
- Mike Fowler – left Team

Coaching Changes

2019 – Rob Summers – to Cleveland State
2019 – Tim Johnson – to Furman

This is why the AD's must make swift decisions to mitigate cultural destruction.

RE: 2020 MBB Recruiting
It’s been a relatively stable Program in terms of player movement. The coaches leaving to go to their home states I can’t really say falls on Lou and by all accounts he has replaced them with solid assistants. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to mix up the staff on a team that hasn’t won on the court. If the almighty Mike Deane was one of the assistants brought in folks on the boards would be singing a different tune.

I just don’t think a lot of Jmu fans pay close enough attention to college basketball to put the transfers out of the Rowe program in proper perspective. Heck Matt Brady had more turnover and that was when the number of transfers across college basketball were less than where they are today.

I also wouldn’t make much out of the recent activity in terms of kids commuting elsewhere. The reality is Jmu has a lot of guys returning in 2020 and 2 scholarships to fill. They have by all accounts a good incoming freshman class. Kids seek playing time and opportunity. Lou just hosted a borderline 3 star 6’6” wing from Oak Hill on the first real recruiting weekend (home football game). There will be others who come thru this recruiting season and he will get his quality guard and quality big to join for 2020.

None of the players that left were starters. Only Greg Jones played in the rotation. This post makes you look even more stupid than many of your previous stupid posts.

you really cant put mike fowler on rowe btw. He didnt leave the team, my understanding is it was a mutual choice to not have him enroll
