Look at the footprint of where GA Southern players have come from; i.e., GA, Alabama, the Carolinas, Florida, Mississippi.

In the article from the DNR from last night, it said that Byington knew the coach from PA where Strickland played prep ball. That surprised me certainly, but Strickland also played at a tournament at Massanutten at one point; and that's probably how he knows of JMU, as alluded to the article. Byington knew of Strickland from having seen him in HS days in Florida.

Lastly, from years of following recruiting, I don't recall seeing GA Southern in the mix for players in the area in which JMU often recruits.

Do you know otherwise? If so, please expand. We also know that two of the guys he may hire do have ties in recruiting to the Mid Atlantic. That also informs us, right?

Lastly, look at who he's been offering and where they're from.

Take out the first lastly, but I hope that fairly represents my position. A lot of tremendous athletes, of course, come out of the SE.

Was he a Rowe guy or Byington? Either way....I didn't see it in a 30 second search, but I noticed that CC (Tallahassee) he went to had 8 guys sign at the D1 level.

Based on the offer date, he was a Rowe recruit.
