I pulled up the Internet feed just in time to see the very last point, which was match point in the third-set tiebreak on Court 1.

Yup, the women's sports are for the most part dominating CUSA. That's great to see, although I really don't know why the men's sports can't do the same. Those freshmen Belgium twins have been great.

Maybe we should start looking at easing into a P5 conference starting with women sports. Kinda unfair to them they stuck in such a crappy conference.

No, FIU won the tournament last year.

As I recall, we got an at-large bid.

I believe it's now 6 championships in the last 7 years.

That's about the same ratio as in international tournaments these days.
Wimbledon 2017 had 54 Americans out of over 500 players.

And those 21 players represent 19 different countries out of 20 different birth-events.

Total garbage statistic. Wimbledon is an international tennis tournament, so one would expect there to be players from all over the world. College tennis takes place totally within the USA, so one should hope that more of those FULL scholarships would go to Americans.

Texas is #9 overall seed, and they host LIU Brooklyn in the other match in that quadrant. ODU also got in as an at-large (they play UVA in the first round).
