Yeah, you can count Memphis out. Even if Penny shows interest, it doesn't matter. He isn't going to sink a lot of resources into recruiting a kid that is like a 1% chance of coming to Memphis. There are too many, really good and viable players Penny will be spending his resources on to go after this guy.

Yeah, he's wanting to see how we play this season before he would commit to us. Safe to say this is a massive season in keeping momentum for future recruiting classes high.

Winning is important, but if Precious goes lottery and a surprise guy like Boogie one and outs that would carry big weight. If nobody but Wiseman holds his value then thats not cute. Precious is huge cause he is raw and guys like him tend to get exposed more often.

I would say the "potential" guys that get picked early has shifted heavily from bigs and "long" guys to wings and guards that create their own shot. That would be what Precious is up against imo. He fits in the first category.

I think the staff is planning as if one of either Boogie or Baugh are gone after this year. Would be huge if either of those guys get drafted.
