Does this kid remind them a little bit like Martin coming out of high school? For whoever that has seen him play.

Tubby you were wrong.

Wait, you mean offering a guy and waiting for him to come to you and ask politely if he could play for you doesn't work...who knew.

When it comes down to it, the players nowadays just aren't obedient enough.

From what I've seen, yes. They're about the same size (Baugh might be slightly taller), both can get to the rim and have the ability to defend. Martin had a nice jump from his freshman to sophomore season and really blew up after that. The improvement in his outside shot made him a much better player.

I hope Baugh can follow a similar path as JM. It would be cool to get a little more production out of him in his freshman season though. His ability to drive and score through contact should be a valuable asset for our team.

And his lateral quickness gives us a guard with size who can defend.

That’s what I keep hearing about him is his defense...that’s one of the main reasons I wanted him bad.

Funny thing is... When I called the Tub out for saying that.... this entire board pounced on me.. Pretty sure TG4 was livid enough to fight that I dared say in this day and age what he said was not appropriate.

He said a lot of boneheaded things for someone so seasoned and respected (according to talking heads).

I love TG4 and miss him. That dude was a boneheaded-hothead sometimes...he was plannin on fightin me too--lol--but so was half the blutard board.

Back to the Tubbyluv that attacked us. Maybe you didn't notice, but I had your back--lol-- jumping in to divert attention when you were getting more and more frustrated about the ring around the Tubby.

You would also tell us about Saul-- his asinine personality---arriving late to bb events, rudely turning his back on genuine questions by potential Memphis recruits.

I was taking it all in. Alarm bells went off early for me, but not as early as some. The second Tubby started lobbing those preemptive strikes against our city and program to cover his own ass, I knew he was dead meat and had to go.

People didn't want to hear the warning bells, though, especially the FB only crowd. They were tired of BB getting the money. It was not till our whole athletic program had to do the hail mary pass, did some of the FB only crowd understand. Tubby had to go..
