The fact that 4th grade kids are still doing coloring books seems like the elephant in the room. When I was in 4th grade, we were writing book reports and printing a newspaper.

I think the Progressives would be up in arms over that.
They would be. That is 'bad' discrimination. Not 'good' discrimination. Which, to some, makes 'discrimination' not 'discrimination.'

Good discrimination and bad discrimination? That completely explains how so many Democrats can be in favor of certain discriminatory practices while maintaining that they are against discrimination.
What is that word that means 'based on race'? I keep forgetting it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bassist
"A bassist (also known as a bass player or bass guitarist) is a musician who plays a bass instrument such as a double bass (upright bass, contrabass, wood bass), bass guitar (electric bass, acoustic bass), synthbass, keyboard bass or a low brass instrument such as a tuba or trombone."
Huh. I would never think of musicians who play the tuba or trombone as "bassists".

How about the bassoon?
I would think of them as bassoonists (not bassists).

None of those are wind instruments (i.e. in the wind section) mind you.

RE: Democrat policies
Is it bad if I laugh at the 40 somethings I graduated with that a) have outstanding student loan debt and b) don't make $125k/yr? These are the same people I see on social media taking European vacations etc. While I penny counted my way thru my 20s paying off my loans, these people were leveraged to the max just trying to stay cash flow neutral, now they get an admittedly small bailout. Just a little infuriating for those who took care of business.

Given Rice’s price tag back then, it’s shocking to hear that there are peers of yours from Rice in that situation. 20 years to dig into and cover tuition that, I’m guessing, was $20k per year?
But I also wonder what career they went into to be making < $125k per year 20+ years after graduating. Social work?
