Brian Latham 6-1 190, PG - VERY Athletic. Solid 1 that can push the ball in Tom's offense. Distributes the ball well and will burn you if you leave him alone. GREAT defender...."he will flat get up in your grill."

Bert Cherrington 6-8 235, PF - very good set of low post skills. Nice drop step....jump hook and has a real sweet shot out to 15 feet. Runs the floor well and is a good jumper. Most polished skill wise of the low post players we signed.

Rodnet Hannah - 6-8 240, C/PF - VERY athletic. Has a 36" vertical. That is very good for a 6-4 guard...it is outstanding for a 6-8 kid. Nice shot (he is a southpaw). Needs to develope a "pet" low post move or two. He already has a nice jump hook with the left hand. Runs like a deer.

Chris Lawson - 6-4 210 PG/2G/SF - thats right this kid can play any where from the 1 to the 3. Very skilled...very smart player. He is an impact player. His long arms will allow him to play bigger than 6-4. He can handle it...shoot it....pass it. He has a total game.

Sergio de Randamie - is closer to 6-8 and 1/2 and 240 lbs. Tough hard nosed player who run, jump and plays tough "D". This guy is a real good banger to add to our front court

It looks like Penders has signed an athletic bunch for his first class. Look for us to be more uptempo and play a trapping defense. I am very excited about this. I think we may field an NIT team next season.

Personally, I can't wait for UAB vs Houston to see the fast paced exciting style of bb.
