You have DJ who will be a very good player with time. It is more important that we upgrade at the guard spots. Lester or Hampton are more important than adding Both Watford and Precious.

Parrish has Memphis as #19 in his top 25 and 1. But what's interesting is his list of expected additions. Not sure if he has any inside knowledge or just his feelings. Probably just feelings.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. What those two will translate to in the NBA is one thing but in college they will be 4's. I would want either of them lingering around the perimeter.

Watford would fit nicely with Wiseman b/c he can score naturally in different ways. He's not a knockdown 3pt shooter but has the range.

Precious is a great fit b/c he would need a play called for him. He seems to be a great energy guy, rebounder/defender, and slasher until he develops a jumper.


DJ is not a 2 guard. I don't care how many times someone says he can play the 2. He also would have to guard the opposing team's 2 guard. He's a prototypical 3 and there's nothing wrong with that. Especially in college where he will be a mismatch nightmare for most teams at the 3 b/c most college teams play a 3 guard 2 big lineup.


Ideally, you have your point(ALo) with a big 2 guard(Hampton/Tucker/LQ), big 3(DJ), 4(Watford/Precious/Lance etc), and Wiseman.

You recruit both Watford/Precious b/c there is no guarantees. I know everybody wants all the 5 stars we can grab but it has to be a good fit.

I think everyone needs to be realistic. We are not getting everyone we are recruiting. And in my opinion only one of either Watford or Precious. They know they will be fighting for minutes if on the same team. Just my opinion.

I think we end up with Jenkins or tucker, precious, and quionnes. Will leave one spot open just in case Hampton pans out. But will be late summer.

Precious in no way is a 3 in college. Watford is more of a 3. But they are both 4s in today’s college game. I just don’t think they will both sign fir the same team. Just like Watford not wanting to play with Hurt. We already have Thomas and Maurice. Just don’t see 2 more bigs.

We aren’t getting precious and Watford. I’ve heard people are still hearing Watford to Memphis but I just don’t see it and think Penny is looking at precious and quionnes as a package deal. I still say Watford will be at LSU.

Tucker makes the most sense to me with our young guards to take a shot with wiseman and co.

I hear they have been working with Maurice at the 3. Trying to get him where he can defend the position. That’s the key.
