HANDLERS
No worries. One of his many nephews set up a blog for him to post all of his thoughts online. I think it's hosted by http://www.creedthoughts.gov.www/creedthoughts.

RE: HANDLERS
I’m new around here, so not familiar with Bulldog. I didn’t understand some of his posts, but most of what I saw I thought was harmless, but I’m guessing I don’t have the full story.

I have no doubt this is what bulldog was trying to do. He clearly loved being the martyr last time and kept pushing even as mods tried to quietly speak to him. He wins with this but the number of posters indicating they'd leave if he kept dominating every thread made the decision one I support.

In other words a bunch of snowflakes made empty threats of leaving because they can't be bothered to find the ignore function. Glad we preserved the safe space for them.

I think most of us get where you are coming from mark, but there is something bothersome about it and I think MM tapped into it and how it can be used as a tool against free speech. Did you actually suggest the "ignore" function to them and how did they respond? (Speaking for myself I wish there were a "translate" function for bulldog's posts but I digress.) Much of the point of boards like this is to give opinions, popular or not, and then have them debated. One lesson I'm still in the process of learning that obviously applies to bulldog, but also to others is you don't always have to have the last word and even if you do have the last word, it doesn't make or convince people that you are right. I think bulldog proves this. Make your point. Clarify/expand if necessary but don't just keep posting the same opinion (especially in thread after thread). People will either agree or disagree. Use the post rating tool if you are so inclined for posts that are informative or well stated (plus) and/or for posts that are just argumentative restatements of points already made (minus).

Agree
Why was he banned?

For posting too much?
The ignored function fellows.
