Okay here's my rant on the subject matter. ECU will turn it around sooner rather than later so go ahead and get the shots in while you can. Notwithstanding our woes we still have the head-to head lead against most the conference in the sport that matters most. Once the turn around is complete those hating on us will still be hating on us but for different reasons. & Memphis, try getting an actual ranking in the USNWR before trashing another school. ECU has owned both Memphis & UC in football traditionally and the tide will turn back in our favor & this thread will become comical. Even UH only just tied the all time series this past yr. Don't kid yourselves. You know why ECU is in the AAC. ECU has more P5 wins than most in the conference despite how bad we've been the last few years. ECU has the nicest stadium and the best fan support in the AAC.

To the AAC, ECU thanks you for the welfare check that we don't deserve. The backlash & anger is understandable but it still won't stop us from cashing the check & using the opportunity to help right the ship. In the end we'll be better because of it & one day soon we'll make ya'll proud. Till then, whether you like it or don't like it, learn to love it!

ECU winning club basketball, ECU having the best on campus bar with the hottest chicks, or ECU getting rolled 26-1 in SR by U6.... Hmmmmmm????

You forgot, Tulane is also a national name located in a destination location - New Orleans. East Carolina is consistently called *Eastern* Carolina and it's Greenville location is thought to be located in South Carolina, which honestly, would be an upgrade from its actual location. So even forgetting academics -- I do think there's separation between the two. Actually quite a bit of separation all considered.

Everything you just said about “Eastern” and geographic confusion about which state ECU is located in could only be perceived as such by an ignorant moron. So if that’s your long winded way of saying that ignorant morons don’t know which state ECU is located in or what those initials stand for, I agree.
