RE: New Jumbotron at LBMS?
I don't get it. Somebody in city govt must have a piece of the action or somebody with the supplier has a big kickback. There is nothing wrong with the jumbo we have, and there are many things more needed at the stadium than this right now! The way representation of business has superseded representation of people in all levels of government in the U.S. always makes me leary about spending projects anymore, especially when they pop up so quickly with so little debate or public comment.

RE: New Jumbotron at LBMS?
Can we just move the "new-ish" 7 year old Jumbotron from the South to the North and then install the new bigger one in the South? Surely that is the plan...

Term limited.

Only one who is fiscally responsible--or is that even a thing anymore?

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Have you driven by the stadium lately at night?

The Liberty Bowl is fully lit up every night. That's got to waste a lot of tax payers dollars.

The Liberty Bowl was retrofitted with all LED lighting about 5 years back. Essentially, the LB is consuming 1/100th of the electricity that it did prior. It's all good.

For reference, when the LB was burning halogen lamps in the stadium lights, it would burn, in one night, what the lights now burn in 1 month.
