Extremely sad! I'll be interested to see how it started. The French Firemen seem to have saved the bell towers and it is reported that they saved a good portion of the artwork.

The French Pompiers are supposed to be pretty good. My only experience was with the EMT's who picked up my mom when she broke her hip, and they were excellent.
