‘Shame’: Victor Davis Hanson delivers scathing indictment of failed ‘coup’
‘Shame’: Victor Davis Hanson delivers scathing indictment of failed ‘coup’

Hadn't seen this here, it's from February so if it's already been posted, my bad. This is spot on.

"The first “coup” in U.S. history in which government bureaucrats sought to overturn an election and to remove a sitting U.S. president has failed, a columnist noted.

“Not thugs in sunglasses and epaulettes, not oligarchs in private jets, not shaggy would-be Marxists, but sanctimonious arrogant bureaucrats in suits and ties used their government agencies to seek to overturn the 2016 election, abort a presidency, and subvert the U.S. Constitution,” Victor Davis Hanson wrote on Feb. 17 in an op-ed titled ‘Autopsy of a Dead Coup’ for the Center for American Greatness.

“And they did all that and more on the premise that they were our moral superiors and had uniquely divine rights to destroy a presidency that they loathed,” Hanson wrote.

The effort by the Hillary Clinton campaign “to create, disseminate among court media, and then salt among high Obama administration officials, a fabricated, opposition smear dossier failed,” Hanson noted.

“So has the second special prosecutor phase of the coup to abort the Trump presidency failed. There are many elements to what in time likely will become recognized as the greatest scandal in American political history.”"

Goes over the bias by Mueller and his team. For Mueller himself:

"...Former prosecutors and investigators think Mueller’s hidden agenda was to protect the institutions of the FBI and Justice Department, as well as the broader intelligence community the agencies increasingly had become a part of following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

They describe Mueller as “an establishment guy” who spent some 20 years loyally working for the Justice Department and FBI, which had come under attack as politicized and even dirty for employing two standards in investigating Clinton and Trump during the 2016 campaign; they needed to be protected from what he viewed as a hostile takeover by the Trump administration, these people say..."

Independent Counsel had 2 years with no restrictions.
  • 2,800 subpoenaes
  • 500 search warrants
  • 500 eye witnesses interviewed
  • 230 order for communication records

Results: No evidence of collusion

BTW, standard US CIA practice is to influence foreign elections via any means necessary ranging from false media articles to violent coups.

Quote:Most voters now suspect President Obama or his top people knew that intelligence agencies were spying on the Trump campaign, but they don’t expect anyone to be punished for breaking the law.

Thirty-six percent (36%) say it’s unlikely Obama or his top aides were aware of the spying, with 18% who say it’s Not At All Likely.

History will not be kind to the incompetent peacock Obama. The willful misuse of gov't power during and immediately after the 2016 election is only the first whiff of the stench of his cesspool of an administration.

I couldn't agree more.

I just thank God that he was incompetent. Can you imagine the harm that a competent president with his agenda could have done to us?

Maybe he'd still be in the WH and Trump on the sidelines trying to kick him out of it like what's happening in Venezuela. That's the way Socialist like to play.
