Cardinals have signed Brant Weiss. He was with them last pre-season.

In this tweet you can catch a glimpse of Cody Thompson at the Browns' local day.

Also reported they brought Jon'Vea Johnson in for an official visit.

ESPN Article about 10 draft sleepers, includes Diontae Johnson. This particular ranking shows him as the 11th best receiver in the draft and a 3rd round ranking. Others I have seen rank him as far down as the 40something best receiver, so hard to tell how he might show next week. I do expect he will be drafted tho.

RE: Rockets in the NFL/CFL/AFL: 2019
yeah, there's a glut of prognostication for the draft. CBS sports has Dionte going in the 5th or 6th round, Cody in the 7th, Hollman ranked as a possible draftee but not drafted and nothing on jonvea. My guess is that both Cody and Diontae go on the 3rd day (rounds 4-7). Cody is just too polished versatile and productive not to get drafted, especially after testing well at the combine. And Diontae has too much playmaking talent for no one to take a shot at him (no one wants to be the team that missed on the next antonio brown because they wouldn't spend a late draft pick on a high talent sleeper). Hollman and Jonvea are tough to call, both probably UDFA but with their 4.3 forty times they could make their way onto a draft board.

It appears as if The Lie-downs (Lions) are drafting a TE. What becomes of Michael Roberts? I don't think he was utilized as a pass catcher enough. Granted he has been hurt/injured. And fans wonder why Detroit can never seem to get it together.

Yep after 3rd or 4th round the draft really is an unpredictable crapshoot. Only 230 players are drafted yet teams are scouting hundreds and over 100 players invited to the combine won't be drafted. And the challenge with WRs is that they tend to make up one of the positions with the most players eligible so plenty of uncertainly and competition among those players for limited draft slots. Best of luck to all the UT players but since none are among the top players at their position, it is really a guessing game as to where they get drafted or even if drafted.

You actually think that the Lions usage, or lack thereof, of Michael Roberts is an issue with the Lions and their fans?

No. I'm saying it's an issue with me. I'm also saying same old Lions.

RE: Rockets in the NFL/CFL/AFL: 2019
It's been interesting to follow the hype of the UT players hoping for a spot in the draft this year. Diontae Johnson is getting way more hype than any of the other players, and yet he has the lowest measurables of all the UT players. I always hear about how much the NFL values measurables, so this is confusing. But, this year I will go out on a limb and make public my predictions on what will happen to the UT players. I guarantee that they will be wildly wrong, but hopefully only under-predicting how high they might go.

Diontae Johnson - 5th round pick (could go anywhere from 4th to 7th)
Cody Thompson - 7th round pick (possible he could go a lot higher. Also possible he falls out of the draft, but I think he makes a roster if for no other reason he can play special teams from day 1.)
Ka'Dar Hollman - late 7th round or priority UDFA (teams never seem to have enough corners. He got his share of team visits and his measurables are high.)
Jon'Vea Johnson - priority UDFA (it's said the NFL GMs often fall in love with speed, so you never know, but I don't think he hears his name called.)
Reggie Howard - UDFA

Anyone else have a guess?
