Realignment victim Minnesota-Duluth continues its reign of terror whipping another team en route to back-to-back titles — 3rd of the decade.

Indeed - Great game played by you boys.

UMass had a great run and just ran into a really really solid team. Defensively - the best team Umass saw all year for sure.

Congratulations!

The game wasn't close. I want to be able to say it was, but Duluth 100% earned every bit of that championship. Hopefully we can keep it up so we can see the Bulldogs in the NCAAs again soon.

I just saw that UM-D's head coach, Scott Sandelin, interviewed for the NHL Anaheim Ducks vacancy on Monday.
Nothing has been announced. The Ducks are considering other candidates.
Nervous days in Duluth.

Hopefully the Mighty Ducks look elsewhere. The Minnesota-Duluth dynasty is college hockey’s biggest draw right now.

Still can’t believe the Blues are 2 games from winning the Stanley Cup after being 31st of 31 teams on Jan 3 (more than halfway thru the season) and agreeing to trade Schenn to Boston (now their Stanley Cup opponent) until ownership nixed it.

UM-Duluth head coach Scott Sandelin has been offered an extension that will pay him a $400,000 base with $160,000 potential bonuses.
