The longer they took, the more I thought they might be waiting on the Warriors or Raptors assistant that they interviewed.

Who knows? Jenkins interviewed for the 2nd time last week, guess that should have been more of a clue.

Quinn Snyder has led the Jazz to the playoff the last 3 season

Kenny Atkinson took Brooklyn to the playoffs this past season.

Though the hire is just meh to me.

In an unrelated note. I'm interested in seeing if or when Becky Hammon gets a shot to lead an NBA team

Hammon will take over when Pop retires, imo. If Ettore Messina goes back to Italy, as is being reported, and Ime Udoka being the lead assistant in Philly, she will be the lead assistant next year in SA.

So the guy is a 34 year old coach that didn't play basketball? Is that right? Good luck gaining the respect of your players.

If he demands respect he will get respect. Not sure what age has to do with anything. And plenty of former players have been crappy coaches and plenty of non players have be good coaches. I’m going to actually give the guy a chance to show if he’s good or not
