AAC basketball schools should not engage in non-return games unless under special situations (eg, ESPN mandate).

And a buy game. 03-puke

We make 2 million off a buy game in football for Texas or Michigan St. Don't really think there is a big enough return for us to do it for money, what's a basketball buy game a 100k?

Plus jt's Vandy who ain't paying crap for a buy game so this ain't about money. It seems every year or so we do an away "buy" game. I think it comes down to wanting to boost our SOS last year it was Utah, who then tanked.

But no one is projecting Vandy to be any good (next year at least). I guess it's better than playing some random low major, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. Promise me you won't do a one off at BC in 2020.

Vandy went 0-19 in the SEC last year and finished number 155, they win a couple of those games and they are quad 2 on the road this year.

Is it playing Kansas? No, but hitting that sweet spot of most OOC teams being in the 70-150 range is a very good scheduling philosophy and not a lot of risk.

Toss in a couple quad 1 games with 5-6 of those Vandy type games and you should be looking good for that team sheet in March.

BC you say? What if we make Stookey cry? And take their dirty dirty P5 money?

Yawn. I know our side has little or no interest in that.

I have great interest ... Would prefer a year or two down the road ... But a Vandy beat down at the FEF next year would work for me !!

I'm talking about coaching staff and admin. They have other preferences. They don't want to give Vandy a game in Memphis.
