We average 2K+ when we play in Hartford. Hopefully the new on-campus venue will see an increase next season.

With it becoming easier to follow and watch away games and the high level of play I think we will see a rise in overall and average numbers. I feel even more confident that baseball will become a revenue sport for pretty much everyone.

If Wichita gets going again and Houston continues to progress it can be a nice way to keep the AAC in the national spotlight.

Fall - Football NY6
Volleyball is doing well too.

Winter - Men and Women's Basketball have multiple bids, half the conference in post season

Spring - Baseball and Softball have multiple bids near half the conference in post season

Do the numbers count the postseason? I wouldn't be surprised if the Pirates are keeping pace with last year right now. Regional attendance likely skewed final 2018 higher.

Source? The figures for ECU are wrong. ECU has played 18 home games for a total of 55,599 with an average of 3089.
Apparently the attendance for two double headers was only counted once yet the total number of games was divided into the season total.

That would give a total attendance of 48857÷18 for an average of 2714, which is incorrect.

RE: Baseball attendance AAC 2019
This thread makes me sad. Wichita was top ten in attendance for several decades. Gene lost his edge, the program became average and we made a horrible replacement hire in Butler. This will be his last year though and the AD is trying to finish the new offices and locker rooms in time for the new coach.

This was from Tuesday morning though. I plan on updating every Monday/Tuesday since their are weekend series and mid week games. I just realized we weren't doing it like we do in basketball and football. I think much like basketball, baseball is just now coming into it's own. Will be interesting to watch the trends develope from that.

Obviously our attendance isn't at the level of ECU and others, but I am glad to see UC has doubled its attendance so far this year. The school has done quite a bit promoting the baseball program. Its a nice venue and the major league team in town has stunk up the joint the past 4 years.

Thanks. Found it under the Misc Reports tab. We haven't played a home game since 4/3. ECU should be #18. I'll see if I can email someone to make a correction.

Yo Juan! Nerd Alert is pretty spot on.

Keep at it... it’s takes many years of culture building...having high level baseball in this conference will continue all boats rising... just like the other sports...tulane included

Our baseball attendance is only low because the baseball games happened to be poorly timed with our lacrosse schedule - for a number of the series', our fans were not able to make it back in time from away lacrosse matches. Look for attendance to pick up once tennis season ends, and for the annual Marge Schott Lucky Strike Filterless promotional night.

Our attendance numbers are highly, highly correlated with the weather. Last year was a brutal weather year when the team was at home. This year, the weather has been great. The average for us is somewhere in the middle.
