What's ironic is that the OP ever personally interacted with Obama in a private setting he would come away thinking he was a giant D-bag. At least Trump is open about things, doesn't act one way in private, another in public.

I did not vote for Trump in either the GA primary (Ted Cruz) or the General Election (Gary Johnson). And I’ve never worn one of those red hats. So I guess I should let the “Trumpers” speak for themselves. But if the Dem.-message in 2020 is the kind of Harris/Warren/Sanders/Booker/etc. insanity we’ve seen so far... yeah, I just might.

I believe the average American is somewhere in the middle of the polarized party potentates, and have been left stranded on an island. A middle ground nominee would win in a landslide IMO, but there's no way that's going to happen in the immediate future. It's one of the damnedest thing I've ever witnessed, but the Dems have drifted so far left that it's downright scary in my honest opinion. Trump 2020.

Trump is not trying to micro-manage our nation to get the best outcome for this or that issue. He is trying to make a place where our free actions play a bigger part in our success than our government. That means you have to take care of yourself and your family.

Freedom is a scary thing. The only thing on this earth scarier is when you try to take away that freedom.

I didn't like Trump in the Primaries. I didn't vote for him in the election. Im not a Republican.
But I do like what he's done for the country.

If you look at Trump's policies and what he's done... He's a solid Democrat... based on what the Democrats used to stand for a few decades ago.

What Trump has is common sense. What we have is his campaign promises. He has fought hard to keep his campaign promises. That part no one can say he lied about.

Here's what I do know, Obama followed through on very little he talked about while running for office. In other words, he just said what he thought would get him elected. Trump, whether you agree with it or not, has either accomplished or fought for everything he campaigned on.

Yes, Trump is self loving, bombastic New Yorker, but he's typical of a lot of folks from the northeast. He says what he thinks and doesn't care what anybody thinks about it. Obama is a self loving product of the Chicago political machine. A straight up "ends justifies the means" guy. Give me the loudmouth over the political hack any day.
