I can almost go back to being a Laker fan again as soon as they get rid of Lebron and Zo.

I would rather have Trevor Ariza and JJ Barea.

To think I was almost going to become a Griz fan if they moved Conley.

FTR the four worst things to ever happen to the Lakers all managed to happen in almost perfect unison.

Hired Magic Johnson.

Hired Luke Walton.

Used the number one pick on Lonzo Ball.

Picked up Lebron.

Sad.

it coincided with Jeanie Buss firing Mitch Kupchak as GM, and the removal of her brother Jim Buss as VP of basketball operations.
I believe those 2 events are of higher magnitude than picking up LeBron or drafting Lonzo.
The new regime did not do their coach any favors. It takes a certain type of ball player to be able to play the Golden State Warriors style of basketball...which is what the Lakers were aiming for when they hired Walton.
Unfortunately...it seems that Walton falls under the Josh Pastner coaching tree...and they didn't get the right kind of guys to play that style of basketball.
