Why use 538 and muh nate's model that skews the results to his liking, as opposed to just the raw data from RCP?

Rasmussen is an outlier, but the trend is clear. Trump is breaking through his previous ceiling, now that the cloud of the mueller investigation has been removed. He's usually at 49-50 in Rasmussen, and is now at 53. The disapproval/approval spread is shrinking. It was at -15% two months ago, and it is currently at -7.8%.

Horrific news for the dems' 2020 chances. If he is at 53% in Rasmussen the day of the election, it's over before we even start counting votes.

I don't think I'd be spiking that football just yet.

And to me, the dems chances in 2020 are totally dependent upon their candidate. And a lot can happen before the election. If the economy falters in the least, trump could have some problems.
There isn't a candidate in the 2020 clown car that has a chance... the Indian fraud, the commie, the creep, the gay, the slut, and Spartacus. Good luck, lol.

Yep, you're exactly right. Polls are crap and we all know it.

So, how about we strike a deal?

No more polls by anybody.

Not even those that use "legit methodology"? 03-lmfao

No, that's silly. Polls do serve a purpose, you just have to take them with a grain of salt.

It's just humorous that in the past when someone on the left would post a poll that leaned their way (like Rasmussen leans toward trump) that person was chastised. Now, not so much.

Actually, my point in posting the OP was to see what leftists thought:

1. The poll is wrong
2. Darn, people really do like Trump

Then why not just ask that instead of trolling with the term "radleft" and implying that trump is actually that popular when no other poll indicates that.

He was popular enough to win the last election. I haven't seen anything to suggest that popularity has decreased, at least not among his base. If anything, support has grown among those that didn't vote for him by those that have become annoyed by the post election reactions by the MSM and D's. As always, the haters will always hate.
