Exactly but a lot of amateur bettors get in this position and don't have the proper bankroll to hedge properly.

He had the ticket up for sale for $100k. Decent hedge too, but I guess he didn't get a taker.

This guy is apparently a well-known bettor and says he isn't going to hedge...weird.
