RE: WAC Commits 2019-20...
Cal Baptist picked up a pretty good grad transfer today... Idaho State transfer Brandon Boyd (6'1, 180-lbs, PG). He led the Bengals in scoring the last two season; averaging 14.2 ppg, 2.5 rpg, and 3.6 apg last season. And, scored 1,244 total points while at ISU.

I saw that as Zion Williamson was committed to UMKC!

Hahaha! I saw that at first. Maybe the NBA wasn’t quite convinced and he needs one more year to prove his skills? 03-razz.

Although, imagine if a high caliber player like him decided to come to a struggling program and see how far he could carry them on his shoulders. No one had an answer for Zach lofton or jemario Jones. Imagine Zion...

They might just fill the on-campus arena!

Have loosely followed the kid since he was a junior attending GCU team camps with Basha HS. Committed to Army out of high school. Backed out and did a post-grad year at Putnam Science. Went to SEMO from there to play his freshman year, and is now coming home. I personally have lots of questions when it comes to guys who bounce around that much. He has a solid skill set, but I won't be expecting much until I see him do it on the floor in games. McGlothan has also indicated that it is his intent to redshirt, so we likely won't see him on the floor until 2020-21

Good pick up for Donlon. Coming from Clemson, at least we know White has P5 athleticism. Then again, he started out at UN Omaha before transferring to Clemson.

I mean, I guess. Averaged 2 pts and 2 rbs in less than 8.5 minutes/game. Also only picked up one block about every 3 games played.

Likayi is 6'9 210-lbs and ranked #19 in the 2019 JC Top 100.

RE: WAC Commits 2019-20...
NMSU has received another verbal commitment... Rashaun Agee

Rashaun Agee, Bogan
The résumé: There wasn’t a player on this list who enhanced his individual résumé more than Agee over the past five months. By the midway point of the season the 6-7 big man was in Chicago area Player of the Year conversations. He was a double-double machine, averaging 19.3 points and 12.9 rebounds a game while leading Bogan to a Class 3A state runner-up finish.
The talent: A big man who can run the floor, Agee beats players at his position down the floor, finishes in transition and attacks the offensive glass for putbacks. The face-up game is still in the development stage, but he did step out and knock down 16 three-pointers on the season. Agee is tough, competitive and has evolved into a coveted mid-major prospect.
The recruitment: With a senior season emergence, Agee’s recruitment took time to take off. Now it’s wide open and is going to take some time to figure out.
Buffalo offered early on this past season but coach Nate Oats moved on to Alabama. There is a lengthy list of offers and interest, including Cleveland State, Kent State, New Mexico State, St. Bonaventure, Western Michigan, UW-Milwaukee, Washington State and Northern Illinois, which was the first and only in-state program that’s been there from the start.

This kid looks like he would be a good get. Hopefully, Jans will sign him if he is the right fit.

Wilfried Likayi was the 19th rated JUCO recruit in the nation.

NMSU beat out several schools for his services. Jans is the man.

Not Sure. There is no denying from a talent aspect, Jalone Friday could help this Aggie team; but he does come with baggage.

Yesterday, NMSU added Dajour Joseph; a 6'6, 210-lbs, guards, from South Plains JC. Based off his JC stats, I am not sure if he is a walk-on addition or actually receiving a scholarship.

Joseph is a head scratcher. Didnt start at SPC I dont think and averaged around ten minutes per game. I'll bet you're onto something re walkon.

I remember Queen going nuts on us from behind the arc in the WAC championship game. I didn’t realize that he was a walk-on!!

He was highly recruited out of NMMI last year. He signed with Western Kentucky last year. I'm not sure what happened, but he left Western Kentucky in September and enrolled at NMSU. I believe we were recruiting him too out of JUCO. He wasn't eligible the first semester due to transferring in late but was ruled eligible for the 2nd half of the season.
