Props
Not sports related, but I wanted to throw some props out to the NIU administration for promoting the school. I took the train into the city from the western suburbs yesterday. I saw lots of NIU and NIU MBA advertising at stations along the train route and at Ogilvie Station. The campaign is tastefully done and I took a lot of pride in telling my fellow travelers that was my school.

RE: Props
Glad to hear that! Now if only we can actually put up a flashy sign on I-88 saying "You're in Huskie Country" or something like that. There are 6,000+ Illinois students that go to UIowa and another 4,000 that go to ISU. I'm willing to bet a majority of those students are from metro Chicago and have passed through DeKalb and don't even know a University exists there. Might even spark some interest in NIU if a high schooler on their way to a campus visit in Iowa saw a cool NIU Football banner or 3 on their way past DeKalb.
