Not saying that you can't figure out the scholarship situation, but I think you need a good mix of elite guys and 3/4 star role players.
If you add Precious, what do you do with Thomas whose been talked about highly and Maurice(need as much experience as possible).
In the scenario we get those 3 to add to who's already commited:
Out>>>Replacement:
Martin>>> Hampton
Brewton>>>Baugh
Jones>>>Quinones
Davenport>>>Watford
Parks>>>Wiseman
Enoh>>>Dandridge
Thornton>>>DJ
Returning Bigs:
Thomas
Maurice
Returning Guards/Wings:
ALo
Harris
Wingett
Hardaway(Walk-on)
Boyce(Walk-on)
I'm not sold we got enough solid big guys to be honest. I think having both Watford and Achiuwa would be good, as both can play 3/4 spots and even center in a small lineup. I don't count Maurice as a factor at all if next season is about making it a special one and Thomas didn't get much run when he was a frosh on a not overly talented Louisville team during a season of turmoil; i would think in a season like that he would have gotten more play if he showed it in practice. Hopefully he's been developing his game last year to be a real game contributor.
Honestly in the frontcourt we will be fine offensively...
I can easily see 45 points coming from Wiseman (15), Watford (12), DJ (8), Thomas (5) and Maurice (5) in 120 minutes...(36 Points in 97 Minutes last year)
The question is can the guards produce 30-35 points in their 80 minutes...(very possible)
Defensively I know Wiseman should be effective if he can stay out of Foul trouble...Dandridge should be as good a rebounder as anyone we had last year (Have no idea how well he will fair on switches or on ball).
Have no idea how DJ, Watford, Baugh, Hampton or Thomas will fair defensively. We already know that Maurice is a poor defender.
Tyler and Alo will continue to be pests on defense and with shot blockers behind them guys will be more apprehensive to drive. So both of those 2 should be more effective.
Offensively, if everyone comes as projected, we will be fine. The question will be can we defend at a high enough level to become an elite team.
Wiseman will be relied on as the rim protector and secondary help defender in the paint. That’s gonna make a big difference. We haven’t had that paint presence since Dorsey.
People always forget Austin. He actually put up better rim protection numbers than Dorsey did, crazy huh?

That's true and you're right.
I don't think that Austin had the intimidation factor that Dorsey had, though. Dorsey intimidated the hell out of the opposition. Wiseman will likely have that right from the get go. Regardless, you're right about Austin. His numbers prove that.
