He's a negative rating player for his career. He's inefficient offensively and turns the ball over almost 20% of his possessions. He plays that 2/3 position that will already have DJ Jefferies, Damion Baugh, maybe Ryan Boyce, some Jones/Harris minutes in the 2, and possibly Quinones or Achuiwa.

I'm sure he will find a good place to land but we need to have space for either a senior transfer who can bust a trey or high level recruits at this point.

I hope he selects a school giving him satisfaction and a sense of a better future.

Agree ...

I do think he has probably grown up in the last two years though. Not a pro prospect. But can contribute high minutes for a high major.

Basketball wise tho, he's a solid player/role player. He plays hard and can rebound. He's not a star by no means but he could help a team.

I could see him on a gritty team like Cincinnati, Wichita State, VCU, Dayton, etc.

Agree on both of these. Folks want to hate because of the way he left and the entire "Lawson" situation, but dude can be a very good player on the right team.

Anyone who watched him this year could tell that his playing style and maturity has changed since his Memphis days.

I think you nailed it. I have no problem with him transferring to KU (or from KU). I just really did not like watching him play basketball. His insistence in being a ball handler, a one-on-one offensive player, and a driver were so frustrating.
