ACC Network
I think they're going to dribble this sort of thing to keep up our interest and as they finalize contracts:

Big welcome to @LaChinaRobinson and @debbieantonelli as our ACC Network women's CBB analysts!

I wouldn't mind having Deb Antonelli on men's broadcasts.

I hope we can get an announcement soon that Dan Bonner and Mike Gminski will be on the ACC Network.

RE: ACC Network
Yeah, Antonelli was pretty solid in the tournament.

Took me a while to get used to her voice, but I thought her analysis was at least as good as any other non-regular that finds themselves an FSU game.

I don't know if this is sexist or not, but it seems like a generation of female commentators was trained to have a super-professional, super-broadcasty deep delivery. Like they were told "don't sound like a girl, sound like a radio newsreader."

I get it, there was probably a time when that made sense if you were trying to break down a seemingly impossible glass ceiling. But it's pretty jarring to listen to. Female sideline reporters don't do that really. Hopefully it's ok to just sound like yourself in the booth, have your normal personality, sound like a woman if you do, or just a normal person for that matter.

And full disclaimer, for all I know that's the way Antonelli and Pam Ward talk around the dinner table...and that's fine. In that case if producers are going to put women in the booth, they don't need to favor only the ones that sound like that. I also find males that broadcast like that to be distracting, but they are far less a percentage.

In any event, I don't know Robinson, but Antonelli seems like a good add with a good future.
