Had 3LP a few times, decent.
It was a chain.
I knew a guy who worked there and he would sell us beans that was bbq instead
Little Pigs on Highland was not part of the Three Little Pigs chain. It may have been at one time, but it wasn't when the Musarra family ran it.
Chain was probably too strong a word. Might have just been local with one set of owners when originally built. Like the Loebs stores.
The Musarra family that owned Little Pigs on Highland when I was at MSU did own a few other Little Pigs. But my understanding is that the Three Little Pigs shops were not part of this family - totally different ownership.
Are you sure they owned more than one?

There was also a Little Pigs in the vicinity of Knight Arnold and Perkins.

You were right. I should have read the story I linked...
So, this is the only Little Pigs that there is?
The only one now. At one time we had four, but as the kids were getting out of school we closed them down because now there’s just the two of us. But at one time we did have four that the kids were kind of managing with employees. That was hectic.
Is this the original?
This is the original.
Where were your other locations?
We had a little sandwich shop down on Madison. We had a place on Mendenhall and Knight Arnold and then for a year or so we were out at Humphry Center when it was first starting.

Yeah, I thought that was so. But I'm also pretty sure there was no affiliation with THREE Little Pigs.
