This.

Thirded.

I agree on Draymond. He's not even in the top 10-12 players of the Western conference much less the NBA

What in the hell are you talking about? Do you watch basketball?

Do you watch bball, Turbo? Because your assessment of Chuck Barkley is way off base.

You've questioned my assessment (comparison maybe?) to Barkley. And highlighted my comparison to Mashburn. Additionally, I'll write off your insult as an attempt to gain the upper hand in a purely opinion based argument---if that's what you're attempting. And I guess you've seen me run, hence my new nickname Turbo.

Now, clarify......what's your question?

I was responding to Chris. Was coming to your defense.

Right on! 04-cheers I'm slow. But I do bad work. And THAT's what counts.

I was a little heavy handed in my response to you due to a few Coors Lites. Sorry about that.

But about the Barkley disagreement with the other folks...

Barkley was an all time Superstar...one of the all time greats. But I just don't agree about the athleticism comparison. Zion is an athlete on another level. Chuck was a good athlete and history may prove he is a better basketball player than Zion, but he was never the athlete that Zion is. Zion has Westbrook level quickness and explosion at 6-6 280lbs. I don't think we've ever seen an athletic freak at that size, ever.

You tell me...does this remind you of Barkley? Looks more like Westbrook to me.

RE: Gilbert Arenas gives Most Accurate &Critical Assessment of Duke's Zion
Zion is an exciting player to watch.

I hope he's Lebron / Durant / Curry / Khawi / Giannis level, but he could end up being just the level below...all star not 1st team all NBA. like some said blake griffinish

Would someone like Corliss Williamson from Arky or Montrez Harrell from Louisville be a better comparison. I don't know

Good read on Lou Williams and Montrez Harrell for the Clips. talks about Trez being better off bench versus 2nd string players better than starters.

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26414...ench-stars

Zion had a little trouble against bigger guys in tourney. every nba team will have bigger guys

I see some similarities between Trez game and Zions, although Zion handles the rock better.

If I had to go old school nba to compare Zion to, I’d blend Antoine Carr and Karl Malone.

Draymond Green is on a team with three of the best shooters of all time. Hasheem Thabeet could look like he had "high basketball IQ" if he had the likes of Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, and Ray Allen as teammates.

Not sure if Draymond is top 10, but think you guys are underestimating a bit what he was.

Draymond's value was mainly on the defensive side. Was either Defensive POY or #2 to Kawhi for a 3 year stretch. A 6'6" guy with a 7'2" wingspan who could guard opposing 5's. Allowed Golden State to use the small ball, "death" lineup - Steph, KD, Klay and Iggy - which overwhelmed the league for most of the last 5 years (I know KD has only been there for 3).

3 years ago, it might not be too much of a stretch to say Top 10-12 but that is when he was able to "dominate" defensively AND shoot pretty well (38% on 3s). Now he's not dominating on defense and he can't shoot (28% on 3s).

Agree and Draymond has faded. But he was a top 20 player for about a 3 year stretch.

I guarantee that he shot better than 60% in the post, much better chance of scoring than watching KD and Stef launch threes all day. Man I miss the "before analytics" NBA.

If you are a career 43% three point shooter any coach, any smart one at least, is going to let you "launch" threes all day. That is not analytics that is just smart basketball.

Don't forget Gilbert Arenas called Kawhi Leonard one of the most overrated players in the NBA. Wouldn't trust his word. Zion is going to be alright.
