New Mexico State dominated South Florida today, leading by 27 at one point before winning by 20. New Mexico State with back to back great wins.

Nice wins for the Aggies against an AAC team and the Redhawks against a MAC team. Glad to see some teams stepping up.

GCU having a horrible start against PFW. Down 13 late in the first half.

Didn’t pull our weight in the WAC Summit Challenge. Dropped the game 71-60 to Purdue Fort Wayne.

Yet another of a string of unremarkable GCU games I hope to bury in distant memories as soon as the team starts playing.

RE: WAC Basketball week 4
This is a dismal year for the WAC as a whole. The conference took a step back this season. And, with the WAC losing Cal State Bakersfield and UM Kansas City and gaining Dixie State and Tarleton State after this season, expect the conference to take another step back next season as well.

Players (seniors) gone after this season...

Cal Baptist
Brandon Boyd - Starter
Dejon Davis - Starter
Zach Pirog
Omar Lo
Micah Robinson

Chicago State
Christian Jacob
Eugene Witherspoon

Grand Canyon
Carlos Johnson - Starter
Oscar Frayer - Probably Starter once eligible
Lorenzo Jenkins - Starter

New Mexico State
AJ Harris - Probably Starter once healthy
Trevelin Queen - Starter
Ivan Aurrecoechea - Starter
Terrell Brown - Starter
CJ Bobbitt - Starter
Clayton Henry
Shunn Buchanan - Starter Currently

Seattle U.
Morgan Means - Starter
Myles Carter - Starter
Delante Jones - Starter
Mattia Da Campo - Starter
Anand Hundal
Jordan Dallas

UT Rio Grande Valley
Jordan Jackson - Starter
Lesley Varner II - Starter
Isaiah Fontaine

Utah Valley
TJ Washington - Starter
Brandon Morley - Starter
Emmanuel Olojakpoke
Bradley Kitchen

New Mexico State is fine. Our four losses are to all good teams. UNM and UTEP are improved. NMSU will win a lot of games this season.
