Cant say but the common theme seems to be that they have relationships with Rob Lanier. Perhaps CRL followed their high school careers as a recruiter for UT.

After recent campus visits, CRL added two more bigs to the 2019 class....maybe Georgia State wont be last in offensive/defensive rebounds under Rob Lanier....
Jalen Thomas: 3* (0.8844) center; 6'10 220lbs
https://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-Thomas-46049647/

Joe Jones: 3* (0.87) center; 6'10 225lbs
https://247sports.com/Player/Joe-Jones-46035855/

One more scholarship to give away. Expecting another announcement next week.

RE: Georgia State Men's Basketball Coaching Search
Center Eliel Nsoseme transfers to GSU from Cincinnati. 2 years of eligibility left.
https://247sports.com/college/georgia-st...132751261/
"The 6'9, 225lbs post played in 33 games as a Sophomore for the Bearcats last season averaging 1.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per contest. As a Freshman, Eliel played in 29 games averaging 0.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.4 blocks in just 5.7 minutes per game.

Eliel was a 247Sports Composite three star prospect coming out of The Rise Centre Academy in Ontario, Canada. He averaged 14 points, 13 rebounds and 6.5 blocks per game while earning team MVP honors."

edit:
what I'm hearing about Nsoseme
pro: high energy guy. physical in the paint. leverages his big body well to give and receive blows. his strength is defense and rebounding. selfless teammate.
con: very poor FT shooter. Lacks diversity in his offensive repertoire. struggles to score points. an average athlete.

RE: Georgia State Men's Basketball Coaching Search
I think you're justified in creating a catch all basketball recruit thread. Every time I see this thread bumped I think you're having coaching issues.
