The trip to Europe is going to have this team primed and ready to go next season with so many players returning.

Great season ladies and pushing through the injury bug.

Maddie is her own kind of player, different from Logan. Hopefully she has also learned a lot from what Logan had to teach her...which was a lot. Logan had a little more time to learn from Mickens than Maddie has had to learn from her, certainly. But Logan has been the kind of player who is constantly learning, constantly asking questions. If you noticed, she was always talking to a coach or even sometimes asking questions of a referee. It wouldn't surprise me to see her end up as a coach or even a ref someday.

We have one opening left, and I hope they're looking for another post player. We're going to need a little experienced height when Kayla and Devon graduate and Casey is the only one left!

I thought Maddie got much better as the season went on. She had some poor decisions at times, but that should be expected at this point in her career. I think she will be a very good player for us and this year gave her some experience to build on.

I think Maddie will be an excellent player. She kind of hit a wall midseason, but she rebounded successfully. She's a very aggressive kind of point guard and that's fine. She had to learn a lot in just a year from an experienced player. That's not easy! But I like her fearlessness. She plays much bigger than she is.

Yeah, I was sticking up for her during her mid-season slump, but I’d be lying if I said I thought she’d play as strong in the WNIT as she has. Really encouraging to see her positive moments!

Off topic, but looking forward to checking out some of the WNCAAT Final 4 tonight. Both games should be really good. I'm rooting for Oregon over Baylor (can't stand Baylor's HC or Baylor Univ. in general). I like the triple-double machine for the Ducks too. Then, Notre Dame vs UConn. Doesn't get much better than that for a semifinal matchup.

I'm for Oregon all the way, will root for ND over UConn (I respect Geno but don't like him, if that makes sense), but if it came down to Uconn Baylor I would hold my nose and cheer weakly for Baylor. If it came to ND-Baylor, I would be cheering for Muffet and the girls to get a three-peat. Complicated, isn't it?

Obviously UConn is no longer in it any more. I will be rooting for the Catholics to beat the Baptists in the final LOL

I never cheer for UConn and I don't gamble, so there you are.

Nice little mention of the JMU vs Northwestern game at the top of the broadcast. Arizona has a sell out crowd of 14,545 for the WNIT finals. Let's see how Northwestern deals with this.

Damn, how awesome for Arizona’s players to pull crowds like that!

Northwestern fizzled in the face of that crowd.

For any of you who complained that Benitez is a chucker, you need to look at Lindsey Pulliam's stat line in both games, and maybe through the season. She's not a lot better. Jackie on a night when she's hot is just as good, and her defense is miles better.

BREAKING: #UVA sophomore guard Brianna Tinsley says she will transfer to #JMU. Tinsley started 27 games and averaged nearly eight points and two assists per game for the Cavs this season. Will sit out next season then have two seasons of eligibility.

Brianna committed to JMU while in high school at St. Anne's-Belfield, but chose a different route once Kenny Brooks left. She of course had to deal with a coaching change between her Fr. and Soph. seasons at UVA.

Glad to have her "back" as a Duke. She'll be terrific in practices helping Green develop while she sits the mandatory season out next year and then having her for 2 seasons must make Coach O very very happy.
