Before the Ricketts family says enough is enough and get rid of Joe Maddon. Cubs are going to waste a base core of young star position players sticking with this guy.

He has sold out assistant after assistant diverting the blame from his own mismanagement. Yes, he did break the curse and won the World Series BUT he had thrown that series away until the rain delay sent the teams to the clubhouse and Heyward gathered the players together and gave them a pep talk. Without the rain delay, they would have blown that series also. And he burnt out the top reliever in getting that title.

Wait weren't you just talking smack about the Cards being behind the Cubs and now you are wanting to fire the only manager that has gotten the Cubs a title in like 2000 years. Fair weather Cubs fan.

Wanted to fire him last year before the season was half over along with millions of other Cubs fans. Just about every Cubs site on the web they are demanding he be fired. Third straight year of slow starts. Took them playing over 600 ball in the second half of 206 to reach the playoffs. No 2nd half push last year and they lost a lead in final weeks.
