We are not joining any P5 conference, so we don't need to play by the same rules.
Adding Wichita State improved the conference hoops. Adding a couple of football only will improve conference football.
Nobody cares if we don't play golf with BYU.
WSU did very little to help the basketball conference. Our position is unchanged among the conference, basically the 7th conference behind the P-5 and Big East. They became a middle of the pack team this past season.
Nothing in their class suggest they will improve much over their mid pack finish for next season. They stepped up in competition and have as of yet not met expectations. Their shine has become tarnished after failing to be as competitive as expected in their second season.

Small sample size you got there.
Would be a shame if something happened to it.

The one thing that is favorable for staying at 11 is the precedent set by NCAA to allow the Big XII to have title game with just 11 teams. Would cause teams to cut back to only two OOC games but every one plays each other each year.

Big XII has ten teams, and a nine-game football schedule.

10 conference FB games? I don’t think so.

Nascar guy having another tough day on the old blog:
1. He thought the Big 12 had 11 teams. Even invented the 10 game conference schedule with only 2 OOC games.
2. Thinks Wichita State is tarnished, when they went 14-4 their 1st year in the AAC, tied for 2nd, and went to the NCAA tourney.
3. Worst of all, those damn foreigners kicking around the soccer ball with Memphis 901 sold out AutoZone Park tonight for a friendly.

There's some other clown, K2 probably I think, that has a serious hard-on for 901 FC.
I don't think he has an issue with 901 FC, but, well, could be wrong there too.

Solution: Stop caring about certain sports!
