Question Rice v. ODU Friday Game
Rice goes down quietly in T1, first ODU batter reaches on a walk... CS, 1B as ODU leaves one stranded to end the inning.

Still scoreless in the 4th. Both teams have left some runners on base.

We're now playing a DH tomorrow - I guess because of weather concerns for Sunday. The rain chances don't look awful but it will be much cooler on Sunday.

Wow. We’ve struck out a dozen times in just 6 innings tonight.

Canterino has a lot of K's himself. 1-1, heading to the 7th.

We've been doing this all year long. Our approach at the plate is appallingly bad.

That's going to happen when you get that many strikeouts.

In context, that deserves a few old school dancing bananas.

How many pitches does Jefferies have? Hard to tell from the camera angle - looks like he's throwing fastballs, mixing up location.

He's got a solid curveball, and I think he throws two different fastballs-- a 4-seamer and a 2-seamer.

BTW, he had a 1-2-3 8th inning, and we head to the 9th up 3-1.

However, he's effective because he does a very good job of spotting his pitches.

Indeed, a solid curve ball.

Rice wins 3-1 behind lock down pitching from both Canterino (W#2) and Jefferies (Save #3). Cameaux 3-5 with the game-winning HR.
