RE: NCAA Tourney
Duluth vs umass will be a dandy.

Top defense vs high scoring offense.

We took 5 out of 6 points vs a team that’s been to 3 straight national title games, THREE, and we didn’t make it past the first freakin round of the NCHC playoffs.....still makes my stomach churn

RE: NCAA Tourney
It was a good game to watch. I was hoping for an all NCHC final. I thought that the elbow to the head by the UMass player was worse than either of the first three majors. Not sure if the refs did not see it or they just did not a review to make them give a major late in a tied FF game.

Is it possible that the NCAA could review that penalty and sit the player tomorrow? If this happened in a league game, the guy would sit at least one game.

This theory simply hasn't proven to be viable over the years that we have been in the league. We have only made the tournament once, and we got trounced by an Atlantic conference team once we got in. You don't need to convince me how good the NCHC is; that is my point. Our fans shouldn't be rooting for the NCHC representatives come tournament time each year. We should be rooting for WMU. If our high water mark is third place, with most years below that, soon enough this will get old even for most of you who feel "the status" of being in the best league is alone worth sticking our chests out. Obviously I am not in that group, as I don't give a $hit if our league keeps winning championships. Other leagues win them too, but that shouldn't be the measure for success of a particular program (how well the league it is in performs) if that school isn't one of those teams winning championships.

I disagree that playing in the NCHC makes us more likely to win if and when we get to the NCAA tournament. How well we are playing at the moment as compared to the teams we are playing will dictate how far we go. But if you don't get there in the first place none of that matters.

OK, you made your point (for the 2 millionth time). I disagree.

That Denver , U Mass game was great . Two good teams relaxed and attacking , was as good of a game as i have seen this year . The Minn D game was more of a defensive struggle , not nearly as entertaining .

As I have mentioned before, UMD's strategy of have Hunter keep us in the game until we score continues to work nicely. UMass is better than I thought so it will be an interesting game to watch.

Would love to see the Bronco PP look like theirs.

I always root for MAC teams during football OOC and bowl season, the same as I root for NCHC and MAC teams during NCAA Tourney season. Earning respect and raising the stature of the leagues my school are affiliated with is enjoyable and fulfilling. Go Bulldogs!

Obviously our program is right up there. Hopefully it can translate to the playoffs.
