Knight has gotten 29 minutes of PT across 2 games (Apr 7, Apr 11) thanks to a bunch of frontcourt injuries. He got a combined 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals across those minutes. Nicely done for the big man!

With Gallinari out, Knight getting real minutes now. 6 pts, 5 boards, and a +5 (tied for second highest on the team) in 18 minutes tonight in a game that was close throughout.

Nate watch.....Bucks at the Hawks, starting 7:30 pm, on TNT.

The Hawks play the Sixers in Philly tonight on NBCSN. With the Hawks very shorthanded, I'm hoping Nate gets some significant playing time.

Nate had 4 points & 3 rebounds in just under ten minutes during the Hawks blowout loss to the Sixers. The Philly announcers did mention Nate and "the Tribe of William and Mary."

Knight has had a very good year. I like both his effort and the reaction from his teammates.

Maybe the Hawks will even win some in the playoffs. A first round series with the Knicks would be both surprising and interesting.

Nathan Knight with a double-double tonight.

He opened a lot of eyes I think this season. Atlanta started focusing on their other bigs as the season went on, but Nate had solid numbers and stepped up in a few big situations. He rated better defensively than offensively, which is probably good for long-term prospects. In the highlights I saw, he went left and right well, showed a pretty good handle for someone 6'10", showed some range and proficiency around the rim. There's certainly things to work on, but his season was most of what anyone here would have hoped for after he didn't get drafted.

Hawks v Knicks playoff kicks off Sunday 7pm

Nathan got some garbage time minutes in the Hawks' win today. He had a nice drive but was fouled (no call) at the rim. Also had a missed 3 pointer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the first NBA playoff game time for a W&M alum as a player.
