Quote:Midnight blue is a dark shade of blue named for its resemblance to the apparently blue color of a moonlit night sky around full moon. Midnight blue is the color of a vat full of indigo dye; therefore, midnight blue may also be considered a dark shade of indigo.
Quote:Navy blue is a very dark shade of the color blue. Navy blue got its name from the dark blue worn by officers in the British Royal Navy since 1748 and subsequently adopted by other navies around the world.

Well, she's talking about dress I think. Not a lot of options in official midnight blue. Sometimes you have to settle for navy.
