CBP Chief Operating Officer John Sanders told attendees of the Border Security Expo this week a major reason for the recent surge in border apprehensions is due to large numbers of people illegally crossing together, rather than a handful at a time.

In fiscal 2017, CBP documented two groups of 100 people or more. The number of group apprehensions jumped to 13 in 2018 and have spiked to 93 just in the first six months of fiscal 2019.

Thanks to lawsuits, temp restraining orders, and coaching by leftist NGO's and non profits:

1) Most everyone lining up at the border have minor kids, which asylum laws favor.
2) USA can only hold them for like 20-30 days, then they cut them loose, never to be seen again.
3) There is nowhere to put these people, not enough space in detention facilities so they put them on
buses and just dump at the town square with a bottle of water and a ham and cheese sandwich.

The amount of money spent on all of this.............USA could probably give citizens a voucher to go to State U
for 4 years, instead your kids rack up the debt and the illegals get the free stuff. Great job radical idiots.

it's truly disturbing what protecting OUR border and wealth has become at this point....

We needs snipers to start dropping one out of every group as they approach. That would stop the groups from forming would be my guess.
