The “climate change” scam needs to be confronted and defeated at every level of our government.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) tried to get unanimous consent to pass the resolution to create the new Senate panel, arguing it’s the “very least” senators could do to combat climate change.

“The committee could be partners with the House committee, and we might actually get something done, not sham votes that everyone knows are a joke, a political joke. And so I am hopeful we can do that,” Schumer said.

But Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), the chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee and a member of GOP leadership, argued that creating a climate change committee would “essentially try to strip” his panel of its jurisdiction over the policy.

“This resolution … is an attempt by the Democrats to once again duck and dodge and distant themselves from the Green New Deal,” Barrasso added.

Well, at the one meeting they held in the house, not many democrats showed up so it was adjourned. So pretty much a waste of time and money.

I think that “not many” number was actually zero. They were able to adjourn the “meeting’ with 4-5 R votes.

This is all show, the left doesn’t give a schit about the environment, they’re looking at OPM and an expansion of political power.
