Similar to how Auburn / Alabama feel when we take under recruited Jimmie Ward out of their backyard and how's in the 1st round.
Rutgers caught us stealing out of the cookie jar and said not do fast there.?

I want to think they cared ...but they had Haha Clinton Dix that year and he went even earlier than Jimmie6

Every team wants more 1st rounders on their team, even NFL teams. NIU and other schools have a problem, can NEVER have enough 1st rounders on your team.!

Although if you're the Bears, it doesn't seem to make any difference how many 1st round picks you have.

Such is life in the Group of 5...when a Power 5 school comes to you it is hard to resist the offer...

I believe he's from oak park river forest (OPRF) and someone on the board was really pushing for him to be recruited. Don't know if he was a senior this year or last and spent this year at a jc or something.

He looks pretty good to me, playing 8A football in a good conference. There's a picture in his Twitter stream of someone holding a stopwatch that says 4.38. Regardless of how accurate that is he's apparently fast, worth a shot.

Well his mom was tweeting coach Hammock's tweet about 191 days to go for NIU football, so that would seem to indicate he's headed to Huskieland.

Well with many schools being closed, how many of the recruits won't graduate HS? This is going to be a problem for some teams.
