Over/Under on how long it takes the CAA office to try to claim some sort of implied credit for this?

And if they do well there, they could qualify for the 2019 3x3 World Cup.

Even better. IF 3x3 basketball qualifies, they have a shot at getting to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo as the US 3x3 team.

Regular baskets = 1 point. Behind the 3pt line= 2 points.

Watching some of the games I can see why the 3×3 games are gaining such popularity. It sure seems like that particular tournament has gone very legit in only its second year.

Fast paced, not hampered by all kinds of calls. Lot's of one one one moves to showcase talented players you haven't heard of. Made for TV in practically any location they choose. Great idea, brings me back to college 3 on 3 at the Galloway court.

It is good exposure for seniors. It is much more a style that NBA scouts can really look at and make parallels to the NBA. Something like this is probably a better gauge for NBA viability than even the NCAA is, if we are being honest.

Surprised to not see any mention of Cacok playing in the Portsmouth invitational.tourney. This is an 8 team tourney comprised of this years college seniors. Tourney starts Wed. Cacoks first game Thur at 7. He is on team 5. Brantley is on team 8. Will be a lot of NBA scouts there. 25% of players last 2 years have played in the nba

Per the UNCW athletic website, Devontae is officially the first DI basketball player to lead the nation in three different categories in three separate years.

RE: More Good Things for Cacok
Not being the devil's advocate but IMHO...

GOAT was Brian Rowsom at UNCW and Blizzard was 2nd IMO. Rowsom absolutely changed the game for UNCW because you could not stop him plus he defended and rebounded (NBA). Blizzard went to the NCAA's all, but one bad call for all 4 of his years. Those 2 are the UNCW GOATS. Rowsom and Blizzard were locks to be retired automatically by everyone as they should be. Matt Fish also played in the NBA but gets no love. He was a very good UNCW player.

I hope that he gets a shot at the NBA and gets it done. He was a great UNCW player for sure and should get his name up in the rafters. He has a faboulous resume for sure. And, was a great guy doing it!
